HYDERABAD: Hyderabad district administration has made all arrangements to kick start drive for Covid-19 vaccination in the city, for the general public.
For this, the medical and health department has identified a total of 24 hospitals including 12 government and private hospitals, in the city.
Hyderabad collector, Sweta Mohanty on Sunday, reviewed arrangements with the Hyderabad district medical and health department.
Speaking on this occasion, the Collector said that vaccine doses will be given to the people, having 60 years above. “The vaccine dose will be given at free of cost in the government hospitals. Whereas in the private hospitals, Rs 250 including Rs 100 for vaccine and another Rs 150 for service charges, will be collected per head,” said the collector.
The registration for vaccination can be done through either online or at the vaccination centres on the spot. The vaccination will be given to 200 people per day. The general public can use Co-WIN App, to register for Covid-19 vaccination and schedule their vaccination slots at the nearest centres, said Hyderabad Collector.
