Petrol, Diesel Price Today: Petrol and diesel prices remained unchanged across the four metro cities for the 14th consecutive day on Sunday, August 1. Currently, among the four metro cities, petrol and diesel prices are the highest in Mumbai, according to the state-run oil refiner. Fuel rates vary across the states due to value-added tax.

State-run oil refiners such as Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum revise fuel rates on a daily basis, considering crude oil prices in the international markets and the rupee-dollar exchange rates. Any changes in petrol, diesel prices are implemented with effect from 6 am every day.

Petrol, Diesel Price Today: Petrol and diesel prices were hiked across the four metro cities on Saturday, July 10. In the national capital, petrol rates were hiked by 35 paise from Rs 100.56 per litre to Rs 100.91 per litre, according to Indian Oil Corporation. Diesel rates were increased by 26 paise from Rs 89.62 to Rs 89.88 per litre in Delhi. Currently, petrol and diesel rates are the most expensive in Mumbai among the four metro cities of the country, according to the state-run oil refiner. Fuel rates vary across the states in India due to value-added tax.

Petrol and diesel prices are revised on a daily basis by state-run oil refiners such as Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum considering crude oil prices in the international markets and rupee-dollar exchange rate. Meanwhile, on Friday, July 9, the rupee snapped its losing streak recovered to 74.64 against the US dollar, tracking weaker American currency and inflows for initial public offerings such as Clean Science and Technology and GR Infra projects. Brent crude futures, the global oil benchmark, surged 0.98 per cent to $ 74.85 per barrel yesterday.

Petrol, Diesel Price Today: Petrol and diesel prices were hiked across the four metro cities again on Sunday, June 27, according to data by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). In the national capital, petrol prices were hiked by 35 paise from Rs 98.11 to Rs 98.46 per litre. Diesel rates also increased by 25 paise from Rs 88.65 to Rs 88.90 per litre. In Mumbai, where petrol prices had crossed the Rs 104-mark on Saturday, were further raised by 34 paise from Rs 104.22 to Rs 104.56 per litre today. Diesel rates in the nation’s commercial capital were also hiked by 26 paise from Rs 96.16 to Rs 96.42 per litre.

Petrol, diesel rates have been hiked 15 times this month. Currently, fuel rates are the highest in Mumbai, according to the state-run oil refiner. Fuel rates increased in Chennai and Kolkata too, varying across the states in India due to value-added tax. Petrol Diesel Prices: Fuel rates in all four metro cities remained steady today

After registering regular hikes last month, petrol and diesel rates were kept unchanged across the four metro cities for the sixth consecutive day today, by the country’s biggest state-run oil refiner Indian Oil. Petrol prices were last hiked on Saturday, February 27, by 24 paise per litre in the national capital, to an all-time high of Rs 91.17. Since then, fuel rates have remained steady across all four metro cities. According to Indian Oil Corporation, currently, the highest fuel prices are in Mumbai where petrol is at ₹ 97.57 per litre and diesel at ₹ 88.60 per litre.
