For this, Hyderabad district administration and district medical and health department have identified a total of 24 hospitals, including 12 government hospitals and 12 private hospitals to kick start drive for Covid-19 vaccination in the city.
Hyderabad collector, Sweta Mohanty, who reviewed arrangements on Sunday, said that vaccine doses will be given to people with age 60 years and above.
“The vaccine dose will be given free of cost in the identified government hospitals. Whereas in the private hospitals, Rs 250, including Rs 100 for vaccine and another Rs 150 for service charges, will be collected per head. The registration for vaccination can be done through either online or at the vaccination centres on the spot,” said the collector.
Four people can register on one mobile number to get Covid-19 vaccine doses, but they must have proof of documents, issued by either the state or the Central government, the collector added.
